The Effect-study Of Mobile Internet On The Young White-Collar's Leisure Behavior

The popularity of mobile internet improved people's access to information.Through smartphones,tablets and other mobile terminals,people can use the most convenient way to contact Internet,get all sorts of resources and services anytime and anywhere.Young white-collar employees,as the core users of current mobile Internet,their mobile internet use behavior is particularly intense.Furthermore,they have high leisure willingness and consumption potential.For them,mobile internet is not only a tool,but also an important part of leisure life.However,as mobile internet is a newly emerged Internet service,the studies on it are inefficient in the academic world.Aimed at the young white-collar workers in Hangzhou,this paper will carry out the qualitative research which is supplemented by the quantitative data.According to the four dimensions of gender,work,family and income,this paper has chosen 17 subjects which can represent the young white-collar workers in Hangzhou.By means of semi-structured in-depth interview,this paper will survey the recreational behavior and mobile internet use among those young white-collar workers.Besides analyzing the relationship between recreational behavior and mobile internet use,it will also explore the influence of mobile internet use on the recreational behavior of the group.Based on these results,this article come to the following conclusions:First,mobile internet closely related to leisure behavior of young white-collar.It can be used directly as a way of leisure,also,it can provide materials for leisure activities,act as an auxiliary tool,create space for leisure,provide guidance for leisure activities.Second,mobile internet has influenced young white-collars'intentions,constraints,habits of leisure behavior.Mobile internet makes them change the way they socialize,the method they consumption,and the mode they travel.Last,mobile internet has brought great liberation to young white-collars,while setting the shackles of constraint.Over-reliance on mobile internet cause blurring the boundary between the virtual world and real world.Unprecedent freedom brings the return of leisure,but also caused the leisure alienation at the same time.New problems appear constantly,so there is an urgent need to find the method to solve the problem.
