Objective:To explore the state of subjective life quality and perceived social support,self-consciousness,loneliness and their relationship in left-behind children al a certain city of Shandong Province.Methods:A total of 429 left-behind children in study group and 510 non-left-behind children in control group were selected and assessed with subjective life quality(ISLQ),perceived social support scale for youths(PSSS),piers-harris children's self-consciousness scale(PHCSS)and children's loneliness scale(CLS)?All subjects were selected from three primary schools in a certain city of Shandong Province.The analysis methods included descriptive analysis,t-test,analysis of variance,correlation analysis,and multiple stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.The state of subjective life quality in left-behind childrenThe total scores,cognitional affection,emotional affection and family life,peer interactions,despondent experience,anxious experience,body emotion factor scores of ISLQ in study group were all significantly lower than those in control group(p<0.05).In study group,the school life and body emotion factor scores of ISLQ in girls were all significantly higher than those in boys(P<0.05).Total scores,cognitional affection,emotional affection and the family life,peer interactions,despondent experience,anxious experience,body emotion factor scores of ISLQ had differences among different grads(p<0.05).The cognitional affection and the family life,peer interaction,living environment,self-consciousness factor scores of boarding were higher than non-boarding,but the emotional affection and the anxious experience,body emotion,school life factor scores of boarding were lower than non-boarding(p<0.05).2.The state of perceived social support in left-behind childrenThe total scores and family support,bullying and discrimination,peer support factor scores of PSSS in study group were all lower than those in control group(p<0.05).In study group,the school support factor score of PSSS in girls were greatly higher than those in boys(p<0.05).Total scores and bullying and discrimination,school support factor scores of PSSS had differences among different grads(p<0.05).Total scores and family support,bullying and discrimination,school support factor scores of boarding were higher than non-boarding(p<0.05).The peer support factor scores of single-parent-out were higher than both-parents-out(p<0.05).3.The state of self-consciousnes in left-behind childrenThe total scores and behavior,anxiety,affiliation,happiness and satisfaction factor scores of PHCSS in study group were lower than those in country group(p<0.05).In study group,total scores and behavior,intelligence and school performance,affiliation factor scores of PHCSS in girls were higher than those in boys(p<0.05).The intelligence and school performance factor scores of PHCSS had differences among different grads(p<0.05).The intelligence and school performance factor scores of boarding were higher than non-boarding(p<0.05).4.The state of loneliness in left-behind childrenThe total scores of CLS in study group were higher than those in country group(p<0.05).In study group,total scores of boarding were lower than non-boarding(p<0.05).5.The relationship between perceived social support,self-concept,loneliness,and subjective life quality in left-behind childrenIn study group,the all factor and total scores of ISLQ were all positively related to the all factor and total scores of PSSS and PHCSS(P<0.05).The all factor and total scores of ISLQ were all negatively related to the total scores of CLS(P<0.05).The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed the main related factor of the total scores of ISLQ included the total scores of PHCSS,the total scores of PSSS,the total scores of CLS,the school support and family factor scores of PSSS,the body appearance nature factor scores of PHCSS.Conclusions:1.There are poor subjective life quality,low level of perceived social support,low level of self-concept and high level of loneliness in the left-behind children.2.In the left-behind children,there are well subjective life quality,high level of perceived social support,high level of self-concept and low level of loneliness for the girls,low grade and boarding.There are high level of perceived social support for the single left-behind children.3.In the left-behind children,there are relations between subjective life quality and level of perceived social support,level of self-concept,level of loneliness.The level of perceived social support,level of self-concept and level of loneliness could predict the subjective life quality in the left-behind children.
