Research On Social Work Intervening In Loneliness Of Left-Behind Children In Rural Areas

In the process of economic and social development,a large number of rural surplus laborers have been transferred to cities,with the result that a special group of left-behind children came into being.Due to long-term separation with parents and lack of social support,left-behind children have a lot of life and psychological problems,especially the problem of loneliness.Thus they need more attention and care.As a discipline for the purpose of helping people to help themselves,social work should play a unique role in helping left-behind children solve issues.And the group work,which is a professional work method,has certain advantages in intervening to alleviate the loneliness of left-behind children.For the problem of left-behind children,this study takes the group in T village of G County,Gansu Province as the research object,collects relevant materials through literature research method,participation observation method,questionnaire survey method and case interview method,and summarizes the degree of influence of various factors such as the gender,age,family status and different stay time.Finally,it is found that the loneliness will bring the inferiority of the left-behind children,the poor interpersonal ability and the single interest.In addition,this paper analyzes the causes of loneliness from four aspects: individual,family,school and environment.On this basis,according to the actual situation of the left-behind children,the author selected ten left-behind children with a high degree of loneliness to form a “staying in the sun” mutual aid group and carried out six group activities.The main theoretical basis of the group's activities is social support theory and ecosystem theory.The purpose is to improve the social support system of the group members through group activities,and help them to ease loneliness in the interaction of the environment.After the activity finished,the study,through the test and investigation of the team members,and the evaluation of the team's service goals and the satisfaction of the client's work performance,concludes that the professional method of group work involved in the problem of loneliness of left-behind children is effective,and can help left-behind children to alleviate loneliness,eliminate bad emotions,and cultivate a healthy and positive attitude.
