Research On The Impact Of Social Support On The Survival Status Of Rural Children

Since the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation work,the quality of life of people in targeted poverty alleviation areas has been significantly improved.2020 is the final year of poverty alleviation work,and also an important year for the comprehensive implementation of rural revitalization.The living conditions of the rural people have therefore received extensive attention.Also,the Social Support and the Survival Status of rural children have gradually become the focus of attention from all walks of life.This study mainly used the Social Support Rating Scale and the Children's Subjective Quality of Life Scale to analyze the level of social support of children in Town S,which was included the objective support,subjective support and utilization of support,and the level of living conditions of children in Town S,which was included family life,peer interaction,school life,living environment,self-knowledge,depression experience,anxiety experience and physical emotions.It was found that the social support status of rural children is at a satisfactory level.However,gender factors had a significant impact on the scores of all dimensions of social support(p<0.05).In terms of the survival status,rural children's scores in all dimensions are not satisfactory.By further exploring the relationship between rural children's social support and survival status,the author found that there was a positive correlation between subjective support and the utilization of support and various dimensions of overall quality of life.Through multiple stepwise regression analysis,the author found that the subjective support and the utilization of support of social support could predict the level of survival status of rural children.But there were other factors that could affect the level of survival status of rural children.Under the guidance of Social Support Theory,the author had designed the plan of group work which was based on the results of data analysis for 8 children in Town S.Through the process evaluation and the analysis of questionnaires of group members before taking part in the group work and after taking part in the group work,the author found that it was feasible to improve the subjective support and utilization of support for rural children through the group work.It also resulted that the improvement of the overall quality of life.
