For a long time, mathematics has a great influence on the development of society and the growth of people. With the development of mathematics,it has application in a wide range of fields.Mathematics is a powerful tool of natural science, humanities and Social Sciences, engineering science and other science.Combining it with other sciences not only created a lot of new branches of mathematics, expand the field of scientific research, has opened up a broad space for the development of their own and other sciences, but also created value for the development of the society.Mathematics curriculum standard in China emphasizes that we should choice mathematics textbooks materials about students' life and other disciplines, dig the available resources from other disciplines to establishment situation, show mathematical concepts, principle and conclusions, and solve practical problems with the mathematical ideas and methods. The close cooperation between mathematics and other disciplines has become an effective method to solve practical problems. And textbooks provide more opportunities for the connection of disciplines as a carrier. This study selects algebra of the mathematics textbooks series published by People Education Press,Shanghai Education Press and Glencoe/McGraw-Hill Company from the perspective of interdisciplinary, analyses and compares the characteristics of the three sets of textbooks, the conclusions are as follows.(a)The amount of mathematical interdisciplinary in the U.S.version of McGraw-Hill textbook with the largest number(1237),PEP second(273),and Shanghai Edition least(219).From the subjects' source, three sets of textbooks involve many subjects, and they are focus on connection between mathematics and economics, physics, and earth sciences.(b)Three sets of textbooks base interdisciplinary on text representation, texts and diagram second. In the text presentation, three sets of textbooks base interdisciplinary on paragraph form. The amount of presenting interdisciplinary with a word or a whole page is relatively small. In the texts and diagram presentation, the two textbooks in China prefer to use real photos to present interdisciplinary, while the California version prefer to use the charts to present interdisciplinary.(c)From the presentation of the location, interdisciplinary in the three sets of textbooks are mostly located in the exercises, especially the California version. From the purpose of use,the vast majority of interdisciplinary in the three sets of textbooks focus on the application of mathematical knowledge in the real world. The two textbooks in China introduce mathematical concepts, properties and methods by using lively and interesting interdisciplinary content. Finally, according to the research results, this study presents some suggestions in an attempt to further improve our junior high school mathematics textbooks contribute to the preparation of the content of mathematical interdisciplinary.
