The compilation of teaching materials plays a fundamental role in the reform of basic education and occupies a very important position in the whole teaching process.This research mainly compares the current teaching materials of junior high school mathematics with the old ones by literature review,text analysis,comparative research,questionnaire survey and personal interview.It is of great significance in theory and practice for the comparative study between the current textbooks and the old ones.The practical significance lies in providing some help for the front-line teachers to better understand and master the textbooks,and the theoretical significance lies in providing some suggestions for the preparation of the new textbooks.The results show that:(1)on the macro level,compared with the old version of the textbook,the current textbook has made some changes in the content,which reduces the requirements;on the basic concept,it highlights facing all students,cultivating students' practical ability in real life,paying attention to the mastery process of knowledge,following students' personality development,and changing from paying attention to "learning" to "teaching" and "learning";it focuses on students in the cultivation of mathematics core literacy,from "six key words" to "ten key words",the requirements for teenagers are also expanded from "double base" to "four bases".(2)In the micro aspect,compared with the old version of the textbook,the introduction and the chapter head chart of the current textbook have been partially optimized;the knowledge points have been partially deleted and modified to reduce the difficulty,and more attention has been paid to the connection with the actual life of the students in the presentation mode;in the treatment of the chapter summary,the old version of the textbook puts forward the problems directly,while the current textbook puts forward the problems for summary after a detailed review,It can make students understand and master it more easily in the process of reading,that is,the old version of textbooks pays more attention to the summary of knowledge points,and the current textbooks pay more attention to the development of students' thinking.(3)In terms of examples and exercises,compared with the old version of textbooks,the current textbooks have increased the breadth of the exercises,expanded the scope of the exercises,and are more closely related to the students' actual lives compared to the old version,which has strengthened the stability of the difficulty of the exercises and reduced the overall difficulty level.Finally,according to the comparison results,some suggestions are put forward for the compilation of teaching materials and the use of current teaching materials by mathematics teachers.
