As a new form of subculture,the culture of fans has been paid more and more attention by scholars.This paper,taking anthropological ethnography as methodology,with "Hupu Sports Forum" as research object,Via analysis borrowed from Bourdieu's theory of "culture capital",trying to explore the type of cultural capital produced by activities of fans,researching on the meaning of accumulation of cultural capital to the group of fans.First,I will overview the study of fan culture,meanwhile,discuss the background and use of Bourdieu's theory of "culture capital",which is the basic theory of the paper.then I will discuss "Hupu Sports Forum" as well as "NBA Forum" starting from"column setup"?"interact form" and so on.From the perspective of self-identification,I will discuss the text produced via fans and how it transform to culture capital using the theory of Bourdieu's "culture capital".Finally,via interviewing fans in "NBA Forum",trying to study the influence on fans' group identification through "culture capital" in the forum.Via the study,it could be seen that fans with different purposes and attitudes behave differently in the forum,in the course of which they post and comment to interact,in order to satisfy their own needs.This process produces texts,they can transfer into "cultural capital" by sharing with other fans,accepted by others or containing culture value.The "cultural capital" also influences the forum and fans significantly on group identification,knowledge accumulate,spiritual life and forum stabilization.
