Interactive Approach,first put up forward by the United States educator Palincsar,has been recommended by many other educators and hence exerted great influence in language teaching.Our national general high schools and universities have been practicing the teaching model for a long time,but the application of Interactive Approach to Secondary Vocational English listening course remains backward.This research,based on the research's teaching practice,applies the model of literature research,action research and experimental research as the basis research methods.It aims to explore the feasibility and the design of Interactive Approach Teaching Model in its study field so as to provide theoretical directions and practical references to educational professionals and other related researchers.This paper has expounded the rise and development of Interactive Approach abroad and at home,the related research achievement in listening teaching as well.It also has discussed the theoretical basis of Interactive Approach,including Krashen's Input Hypothesis theory and Swain's Output Hypothesis theory,Constructivism in the process of its application as well.The paper is to answer the following questions:1)Will the Interactive Approach affect the emotional attitude of Vocational High Schools students in English listening learning?2)What is the learning effect on the listening of students through the Interactive Approach?This study has lasted more than four months in the researcher's teaching practice.The researcher firstly selected two classes from Zhuzhou Normal School for Preschool Teachers where she teaches as the experimental class and the controlled class respectively.Then she understood the emotional attitude of Secondary Vocational School students and their present situation of English listening learning through the questionnaire survey and realized that the experimental class and the controlled class had no differences in their English listening study through the SPSS statistical software on the analysis of the two classes' pretest results.The experimental data shows1)The Interactive Approach significantly increased the emotional attitude of Vocational High Schools students in learning English listening.2)The Interactive Approach can effectively improve the academic performance of students in listening learning.
