The Influence Of Popular Culture On College Students' Values And Guiding Research

With the forward of global economy,the higher and higher degree of our reform and opening-up and the revolution of information technology brought by the Internet Age,population culture have been produced and develop vigorously since the last century eighty's.Population of the culture has a great influence on the life style and values of college students.It enriches the college culture life also makes some negative effect to the values to some extent.As person of great ability and tremendous potential in the future of our country,it is very important to train the students with the correct value before the key time,entering the society.The essay starts from above discussed.I observe the effect and the reason of student's value made by popular culture and explore the instruction strategy of the value education.The first chapter described the connotation and characteristics of popular culture.I think the culture is within the specific period and it is spread in the social masses.The young is main audience and it is intervened by the power of specific social environment so it is constantly and radically changing culture.Its characters are volatility,consumption,vulgar,technical and transient.The value of college students is shown with value goal,value evaluation and value orientation.It is independent consciousness,diversityof values,pursuit of the practicality of values,instability and dual nature.The second chapter studies the double side effect of the popular culture to value orientation of college students.On the one hand,the culture makes positive effect to students.On the other hand,it has negative influence.In the third chapter,the reasons of the influence of popular culture on the values of college students are investigated,including the own factor of the culture and of the students,the unavoidable reflection of social transformation and the concept penetration and impact of western popular culture under the globalization.In the fourth chapter,the instruction strategy of value teaching with the influence of popular culture is explored in the aspect of the content,route and method of value education.
