Based on researching in H city' sales industry, this paper takes female peasant workers' weddings for example and tries to figure out this group's multiple identities. This study found that female off-farm workers are unique, and their motivation has change a lot. They not only want to earn more money but also want to seize more opportunities in the big city. Female peasant workers plan to have their weddings in both city and rural. In this situation, wedding cost is increasing fast with a variety of forms. Meanwhile, the bride changed her roles also fast. They get more dominance finally. At the same time, this research also pays more attention on the impact factors of the wedding cost. Based on the social environment, macro policy/life goals/logical thinking behind the delicate capitalism and modern media drive more wedding cost. Based on their own, economic-state changing/awareness of property rights and individualism give them more enthusiastic about wedding cost. However, hard-time of work/the stability of patriarchy/principle of the modern commercial society give them a huge blow.Critically, this research also tries to give its own solution to the classic theory of this study field. As we all know, this complicated relationships between identities from work-field and identities from consumption-field are very attractive. This research found that these two identities from two fields interact and constraint all along. From my standpoint, multiple identities from the consumption field is totally limited by the structure of working field. In conclusion, Female off-farm workers are the poor in consumption society.
