A Case Study Of Individualized Family Service Plan In Pei Zhi School

In recent years,the early intervention of families with special needs has been paid more and more attention by scholars and families.Based on the analysis of the connotation and theoretical basis of the Individual Family Service Plan,and based on the constituent elements of the plan and the implementation process,a 3-year-old child with mental retardation at the Special Education Center of Zibo District was selected as the study object.At this stage,three evaluations were conducted using the Assessment Scale for the Development of Children with Special.The survey of parental satisfaction was conducted by self-compiled questionnaires and adjusted according to the results of each survey to better adapt to the development of all aspects of children's abilities.To fulfill the research purpose,several research methods are used,including literature review,observation,investigation and case study.and the corresponding individual family service plan is made according to the specific situation of the family.Through the implementation of the multi-year intervention plan,not only to promote the case in the sense of perception,rough action,fine action,language and communication,cognitive,social interaction and self-care aspects of the improvement,but also to family satisfaction has been a certain degree of improvement.Finally,based on the experience accumulated in this case study and for the status quo of Pei Zhi School,the proposal to develop Individualized Family Service Plans is proposed.It is expected that children who can help mental retardation can make up for the defects in the early intervention process,development potential,while achieving the goal of improving the quality of life of special children's families.
