In response to the new curriculum reform in basic education and in order to improve the professional standard of teachers,middle and primary schools in Changyang County have carried out the school-based teaching research and training model of independent study and reflection.This model promotes teacher's professional development gradually by performing four interacted modules: case-refining,experience-integration,system-conformation and theory-practicing.The school-based teaching research and training model of independent study and reflection is conducted and impelled in the whole Changyang County and creatively practiced by schools under domination of local administrative department of education.The implementation has achieved great effect in following aspects: independent development of teachers,student study,school development and social response.It has vigorously promoted local teacher training reform,and embodied the importance of waking up teachers' conscious of self-improvement.The practice of school-based teaching research and training model of independent study and reflection has defined the predominant role of teacher in teachers' professional development.Enduing teachers the right of independent selection and development is very important for teachers to think independently remain creative and constantly enhance overall quality and theoretical preparation.
