With its dual characteristics of number and shape,vector is a bridge between algebra and geometry.Ordinary high school mathematics curriculum,plane vector as the content of the mathematics required course 4 and space vector as the content of the mathematics elective course 2-1.This paper goes through to The Chabaga Second High School student to carry on the questionnaire survey,test research and teacher's interview.It found out and analyzed the existing problem and the reason in vector teaching.on these issues,the paper put forward the vector an effective teaching strategies and the design.This thesis consists of 6 parts:The first chapter is an introduction,expounds the purpose,significance of vector teaching and the research states at home and abroad,researching methods and innovation.The second chapter is to analyze the vector content of high school.It is about the status and the characteristics of the vector in high school mathematics and the requirement to the vector in the curriculum standard.The third chapter is to go through the investigation and analyze to find out the difficulties and the reason of student's learning,also the problem existing in the teacher's teaching.The forth chapter is according to the above conclusion and the student's actual situation and proposed the corresponding teaching strategies.The fifth chapter is based on the teaching strategies to give the teaching design.The sixth chapter is the summary of the paper.
