With the accelerating process of globalization,our society is suffering from the pain of economic and cultural transformation.Meanwhile,confronted with fetish culture,liberal culture,utilitarianism and other various Western cultures,people are sustaining Western multi-cultural impact,whose essence is the collision and conflict between different values.As the future of the Chinese nation,the young children are supposed to develop correct and positive values.The issue of children's values education is the keystone and difficulty of ideological and political education in our country,thus we have to explore the cultural context of children's values education,and that is to say we had better study the values of education from the cultural perspective to solve the problem effectively and efficiently.The basic context or the dominant context of the education of children's values in our country is the cultural context of Marxist and socialist values education.The cultural forms of the society can be divided into three types: the local culture which means the traditional culture,the global culture,as well as the modern culture which is generated in the native land but influenced by the foreign culture to meet the need of the contemporary society.These three types of cultures in our country conflict with each other and form a rather complex multi-cultural context.At the same time,the values of children are generated and developed in the context of this multicultural impact.The advanced social consciousness will promote the development of social existence.As a result,we have to study children's values education from the perspective of culture and pay attention to the influence of the three kinds of cultural contexts on values education.Influenced by the multi-cultures,the traditional culture in the contemporary society is gradually declining to some extent and it is not the only cultural factor that affects the formation of children's values in our country.However,the traditional culture which has been developed and flourished by the millennium will not disappear,but imperceptibly affect people's way of thinking and behavior as background culture.The traditional cultural context is divided into the classical culture and the daily-life culture.Along with the rise of technological innovation,social progress and modern culture,the presentation of traditional culture has been greatly affected.Even so,the traditional Chinese culture as the strongest part of Chinese culture contains valuable training methods of values that worth learning from abundantly.Therefore,it requires us to combine traditional culture and modern culture and integrate traditional culture into contemporary culture in a better way to make greater achievements.The application of reform and opening up policy has facilitated the rapid spread of modern culture in China.We have to admit that the diffusion of modern culture in our country did not begin after the reform and it can be traced back to the Opium War.The reform and opening up has accelerated the transmission of modern culture,and the conflict is inevitable between modern culture and traditional culture.The rapid development of modern culture unavoidably affects the education of children's values,so the modern cultural context is an important issue in the cultural context of the education of children's values.The trend of globalization has dominated in the development of the world nowadays,while along with economic globalization,the cultural development has also globalized the world at the same time.We oppose the universal value,but we cannot deny that the advent of the cultural globalization is taking shape of what can be called a global culture to some extent.The education of contemporary Chinese children's values cannot be separated from such cultural context.The study on the problem of the children's values education in different contexts to eliminate the negative effects in different cultural contexts will be of great importance in the theoretical research of juvenile ideological and political education in China,and it also has the long-term and practical significance for the correct value guidance of the young people who are successors of socialist construction.
