The science curriculum in junior middle school emphasizes scientific inquiry activities and requires the combination of theoretical knowledge and specific experimental activities.Therefore,the previous classroom or the laboratory is difficult to fully meet the needs of science curriculum.Taking the needs of teachers and students for the ideal science education space into account and combined with learning theory,the author designed the scientific functional classroom from four aspects : First,the demand for scientific functional classroom were summarized,and simply divided the functional area..Second,based on the divided functional area,a clear architectural plan was drawn..And take the use of 3D simulation technology to simulate the real effect;Third,the apparatus in the scientific function classrooms were classified.According to the type,safedy as well as frequency of use etc.The apparatus in middle school laboratory were classified into four categories in order to be able to be systematically store them;Fourth,put forward some management suggestions of the scientific function classroom for the school.At the same time,the author provided different recommendations for different types of scientific inquiry activities to improve the utilization and practicability of the scientific function classroom.This study is divided into the following six parts: The first part introduces the research background,the research questions,the research methods and the significance of the research.The second part is the literature review of the research including the analysis of the scientific functional classroom and teaching environment.The third part is the analysis the problems of two types of the scientific functional classroom.The fourth part is the design of the scientific functional classroom from four aspects according to the requirements.Fifth part provides some suggestions according to the characteristic of the three categories of science research activities and blind spot of the teaching.The last part is the summary as well as the limitations ofthe research.
