Study Of Junior High School Physical Science Inquiry Teaching Practice

In the new "Physics Curriculum for Compulsory Education", scientific inquiry is included in the course objective. The curriculum points out that scientific inquiry is both one of the learning goals and an important teaching method. As a new term of education and a new teaching method, the total objective of scientific inquiry is to foster the student's ability of inquisition, the spirit of creativity and the realistic approach and to develop their awareness of participation and concern for society and life. By combing knowledge, scientific methods and scientific attitude together and emphasizing students' personal experience, understanding and feelings in inquisition in junior middle school physics course, this article discussed how to develop students' independency and their interest in science and technology, so that we will be able to reach the educational objective and lay a good foundation for the students' lifelong study.
