Recently,Internet plays an important role in people’s life.It provides us with lots of fun and information.Meanwhile,it offers chances for English language teaching.As is known to all,grammar teaching is relatively boring compared with other teaching contents.Thus,it occurs to me that we can improve our English teaching situation with the help of micro videos.According to Second Language Acquisition Theory and Constructivism Theory,the author did experiments in Class One,Grade Nine and Class Four,Grade Nine for half a year.Practice has proved that the use of micro video assisted teaching can stimulate students’ interest in grammar,improve the effectiveness of class to make the class short and fantastic”.Those who aren’t good at English can watch the micro video for several times until they understand how to use the grammar.It can help them have the confidence in learning English and catch up with other students.The study is divided into five parts:The first chapter is introduction.The problems which should be solves are illustrated.The background and meaning of the study is also told.Meanwhile,it explains what the grammar is and what the micro lesson is.The second chapter is literature review.It tells the definition of concepts and theoretical basis.In this part,the situation of micro video lessons at home and abroad is also analyzed.The third chapter introduces contents of the study,including whom to study,studying methods and studying tools.It shows the current situation of grammar lesson,know what teachers and students require in their grammar learning by investigating and talking with them and then design the micro-video lessons according to the situation and requirements.It is application of micro teaching in English grammar lessons.The fourth chapter is analysis and thinking.Relative study is done by comparing and analyzing the results of the study to have a conclusion.The fifth chapter is study conclusion.This chapter is mainly to describe what effects micro-teaching has on teaching and learning.At the same time,I rethink what should be improved.
