Education is the most fundamental of all undertakings for a nation's development.Teachers play vital role in vitalizing education.Rural school teacher,especially the green hands,is at the root of teacher cultivation.However,most scholars separate them from their real life during the study of rural teachers,fail to delve into the real state of novice rural teachers,pose risk for them searching for their identity,thus resulting the extremely unstable of teacher team.The novice rural teachers are special groups in the ranks of teachers,and the research of identity recognition for novice rural teachers is also a difficult problem in recent years.The author went to rural schools at C town in Henan Province for site investigations to learn about the real state of novice rural teachers.Education stories of novice rural teachers are collected by observations,interviews and case studies to understand their state and change of identity recognition.Consequently,factors influencing their identity recognition are analyzed in a thorough manner.Lastly,further thinking on identity recognition of novice rural teachers is done,and suggestions and countermeasures to actively build novice rural teachers' identities are proposed.The specific contents include the following parts:The first part of the content includes research origin,the core concept of definition,literature review and research preparation.The second part is the description and analysis of the identity recognition status for novice rural teachers at C town in Henan Province.Through description of their daily life,teaching work and future plan of the seven novice rural teachers,the writerdescribes the identity recognition status of rural novice teachers from the perspective of three dimensions,namely situation identity,occupational identity and personal identity.On this basis,the author summarizes the problems of identity recognition for novice rural teachers: Firstly,the living and working environment around the novice rural teachers is rather simple and crude;The second is the low salary of the rural teachers,the poor welfare and social status;The third is the "low-end" training mainly;Fourth the lack of emotional home for novice rural teachers;Fifth,most of novice teachers teach in a cross-regional rural place,far away from home,thus leading to lack of sense of belonging.The third part of the author from the external and internal factors on the two aspects of the identity of rural novice identity were summarized.Among them,external factors include policy factors,school factors and occupational factors in three aspects;internal factors mainly related to the novice teachers themselves.The fourth part starts from such four aspects as education department,serving schools,teachers themselves,and normal universities to start,the author puts forward a number of recommendations and countermeasures to promote the novice rural teachers take initiative to build self-identity.
