The Study On The Effect Of Socialist Core Values Education On College Students From The View Of Attitude Theory

As the hope and future of the nation, college students are the fresh force of the construction of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics. Whether they could be commitment to the nation, care about the society, and consciously enhance personal qualities, especially set up the correct values or not is not only the responsibility of the college students, but also the standard for measuring the validity of socialist core values education. The key points of socialist core values education on college students are to guide students be aware, agree and then practice the socialist core values, and to put the essence of the values into college students'individual values. How to improve the teaching effectiveness of socialist core values on college students, and how to implant the socialist core values to college students, and make them be implemented in action are two major problems need to be solved urgently regarding to the socialist core values education on college students.The attitude theory is an important field in social psychology. It has intrinsic identity between the formation and changes of attitude and the formation of the validity of college students' socialist core values education. Applying attitude theory to study the validity of the college students' socialist core values education is conducive to the optimizing of teaching processes, to the enriching of teaching methods and to the clearing of teaching goals. Basing on the field survey and official data this paper makes a intensive study of the validity of the college students' socialist core values education using attitude theory. Data showed that the contemporary college students' socialist core values education has obtained certain achievements. For instance, college students have a correct cognition about the core values,college students are willing to accept the core values,college students are being engaged in kinds of activities about core values. However, there are also some shortcomings. For one point,for a number of college students, the degree of their recognition to the socialist core values needs to be enhanced; another point is that for some college students, the degree of their knowing and practicing of the socialist core values is not consistent.We are supposed to use the attitude theory and method, to apply the idea of"perfecting mechanism,optimizing key points,and exploring new methods" to perfect the mechanism of college students' cognition to socialist core values,to optimize the key points in socialist core values education,to broaden the ways for college students practicing socialist core values education. All in all, to help enhancing the validity of college students'socialist core values education.
