Function and geometry occupy a large proportion in our junior middle school mathematics curriculum content,throughout the mathematics teaching.The synthesis problems of function and geometry,because of its comprehensive strong,covering a wide range of knowledge,variable type,flexible form and other characteristics,frequently appear in the examination questions,especially the last one based on the selection of the big problem.Solve such problems,the students' comprehensive ability to use knowledge,calculation ability,logical thinking ability,flexible use of mathematical thinking ability and so on are put forward high request,on a visit to a considerable extent,reflects the examination proposition tendency which is focused on students' ability to solve the problem.At the same time,the teaching of the synthesis problems of function and geometry can help to develop students'thinking,promote students to optimize and improve the knowledge network and promote the migration of knowledge.It has positive significance to establish a good cognitive structure.And it is because of such problems on the ability of students in all aspects of higher requirements,so that students in the synthesis problems of function and geometric,there have been many obstacles,but also to the teaching of teachers has brought great difficulties.Therefore,this paper aims at investigating students' obstacles and obstacles to the synthesis problems of function and geometry.The literature analysis method is used to define the problem-solving obstacles and the synthesis problems of function and geometry.By statistical analysis,the knowledge of the synthesis problems of function and geometry in the examination of the development trend,reference to statistical analysis results,curriculum standards,archives,textbooks and all kinds of supplementary materials,completed the preparation of test questions for the synthesis problems of function and geometry.By the use of test surveys,questionnaires,interviews,and comprehensive study of the previous income to get the main obstacles to students in solving the synthesis problems of function and geometry are:psychological obstacles problem representation obstacles,knowledge of the obstacles,strategic obstacles,operational obstacles and other five major obstacles.The causes of various obstacles are as follows:(1)Psychological obstacles:students lack of learning interest;face great pressure on exams;teachers' teaching style is boring;teachers and students are not harmonious;teachers are dissatisfied with the errors that students have created;students learning attitude is not correct;the synthesis problem of function and geometry itself has a strong comprehensive.(2)Problem representation obstacles:students are not familiar with mathematical terms,symbols,graphics and formula meaning;not good at summing up the type of problem category,can not achieve the problem conversion;not good at digging the subject given the implied conditions.(3)Knowledge of the obstacles:the teacher on the new concept,nature,theorem of the nature of the explanation is not profound;teachers set less heuristic questions in the classroom questioning;students do not pay attention to the concept,nature,theorem of the nature of understanding;not good at optimizing and perfecting the knowledge network.(4)Strategic obstacles:students can not accurately understand and apply mathematical ideas;not used to solve the problem strategy;not good at summing up the problem-solving strategy.(5)Operational obstacles:students ' logic thinking ability is poor;studentsdo not pay attention to problem-solving steps of the standard writing;their computing power and mapping ability is weak.Based on these problems,this paper puts forward the corresponding coping strategies from both teachers and students.Taking into account the differences of different students,to overcome the obstacles in the process of solving the synthesis problems of function and geometry,teachers and students can not be separated from each other.As a participant,guide and collaborator of student learning activities,the teaching of teachers is essential.Therefore,the strategies proposed from the teacher' s teachings have the following aspects:help students to establish a small learning objectives;give actively evaluate to students for their wrong problem solving;maintain a good relationship with students;analyze the subject and problem deeply;strengthen the students language learning ability;help students improve the knowledge network,review the basic skills;help students accumulate problem-solving model,build a strategic knowledge structure;focus on the mathematics;focus on the concept of knowledge,thinking methods of teaching;standard solution steps;focus on mapping teaching;strengthen the cultivation of students' computing ability.And students as the main body of mathematics activities,should actively cooperate with and respond to teachers' learning tasks and requirements under the guidance of teachers,and strive to improve themselves from all aspects of the above teaching strategies.On this basis,students should build effective wrong topic this and improve ability to solve the synthesis problems of function and geometry.
