| With the development of education and teaching,the individuality of students’ cognitive style has become the focus of attention in teaching.Cognitive style which exits in the cognitive process reflects learners’ individual preference,habitual attitude and way.It is the ultimate cause of the difference in cognitive ability.Most people only have a part of the cognitive style.Each style has both its advantages and disadvantages.To be an efficient knowledge acquirer and problem solver,the development between two cognitive styles in a dimension needs to be balanced.Cognitive style is a dynamic factor that can be shaped and changed through strategic teaching.In the current educational program,each person’s unique cognitive style cannot be considered.Mind mapping is an important factor to improve cognitive ability on the basis of respecting individual thinking.There are three parts in mind mapping:keywords,branches and colors,among which color is a very important part.The use of color in the mind mapping can promote learners’ thinking ability,analysis,finishing and problem solving and other cognitive abilities in the process of knowledge acquisition.The effective use of color will affect the efficiency of knowledge and personal awareness of information.Among the current studies,the use of color in the mind mapping,including the use and choice,is very random.It is only used as a distinction between the branches,which will make that learners choose the color randomly and they do not pay attention to personal preference for color,therefore,they do not form a systematic approach.This will produce negative emotions,weak learning interest,which affects learning effect.Based on that,the present study explores the effect of mind mapping which based on personalized color on cognitive style,which can enrich the mind mapping in the application and the impact of cognitive style factor research,can balance different individual cognitive styles between the defects,and can make up the short board in cognitive ability.In addition,it can enhance the teaching effect,stimulate students’ interest and motivation.Contribution and innovation of this paper:(1)Establishing a systematic approach to make a personalized and color-based mind mapping.Color preference selected by color individuality represents the difficulty of knowledge,that is,deep and shallow represent easy and difficulty.(2)Improving traditional measurement of color preference scale or questionnaire and designing color personalized test software based on Qt programming framework.This test is used before the drawing of mind mapping to master learners’ color preference in a short time.(3)Studying the influence of color-based mind mapping on cognitive style,and putting forward two kinds of cognitive styles that coordinates the same kind of dimension,balances the original cognitive style,and makes up the way which cognitive style defects affect cognitive ability. |
