Application Research On Counselors' Educational Work With Wechat

With the advent of information age,Wechat,as a new instant messaging application software,is increasingly changing the college students' life style and social habits with its new and rich function.Wechat is acceptable by college students because of its speed of communication,privacy,information of universality,and it is convenience to the college students' life and study.In addition,Wechat provides a new way for the college counselor to carry out the work in the new media environment,which adapts the way of reading brought out by information age for college students,and innovates and enriches the contents and methods of college students' work,Furthermore,Wechat improves the pertinence and effectiveness of the work of college students and enriches the contents and methods of student management in universities.It is another avenue for the reform of college students work,as well as a new field of higher education management research.In recent years,with the rapid development of network and new media technologies,the author,who is engaged in the work of the college counselors and put it as the foundation and basis,using a variety of methods,such as: literature research,lessons summary method,observation summary method,experiencesummary,to explore the application of Wechat in work of College counselors.This thesis is to understand the current situation of the use of Wechat for contemporary college students on the basis of empirical research,and to survey the status of college counselors carrying out the work by the application of WeChat through the interview.Besides,it analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the application of WeChat in the work of College counselors.Last but not the least,it details the platform and function of WeChat in the work of counselors on the basis of the empirical investigation.The thesis focus on how to explore the application of WeChat in the work of the college counselors under the new media environment,and to explore the new way of college counselors work from the following five aspects respectively :ideological guidance,academic counseling,psychological counseling,business employment guidance,life guide.In a word,it not only adapts to the demand of education information,but also improves college counselors' work effectively and promote the reform of students administration.
