Open-ended learning environments including learning managing systems,personal learning spaces and intelligent tutoring systems(ITS)are learner-centered,and they provide a realistic and complexly problem-solving tasks opportunities for students.These experiences can support students learning more deeply and help students' to develop the future learning strategies.However,any learning under any environment are self-regulated learning,and many students are easy to get lost in these environment,and it is easy to lead to students to form the phenomenon about cognitive load.There is an emerging of the researching and application on the ITS which can conduct students by one to one counseling in the world,and these systems can use artificial intelligent technology to provide personal learning scaffolds whose function features can solve effectively students' cognitive dilemma.The core content is that which the self-regulated learning processes can help students effectively to solve the problem of getting lost in the processes of gaining learning information in the ITS.First of all,the paper presents the research status,related concepts and theoretical basis,considering the ITS classification,related self-regulated learning research,and the paper reviews related research findings and the deficiencies.Moreover,the paper uses the methods of literature reviews and realistic running to focus on the development and designation of the ITS.It analysis the internal and external structures of the systems,and in order to lunch this research about self-regulated learning,and the paper limits the ITS interface features.Meanwhile,the paper analysis and generalizes the major SRL factors in the ITS.According to these SRL factors,it analysis cognitive regulation,metacognition regulation and affection regulation in the learning processes,and it constructs a SRL conception model of the ITS.Additionally,after analyzing learning flow path and learning process,based on the SRL process model and the SRL phases in the computer-based learning environments,the paper designs a SRL process model under the ITS learning environments.At last,taking the Betty's Brain ITS as an example to make an empirical analysis for junior high school students,they learns knowledge in light of constructed SRL process model under the ITS learning environments.After a period of learning,the paper surveys concrete SRL effects,and the findings shows that the most of the students can effectively regulate their cognition,metacognition and affection.Obviously,in the ITS,the SRL process can deeply influence learners' learning,and this phenomenon can provide very big benefits,which can bring a lot of convenience and usefulness.
