With rapid development of society, the disadvantages of the traditional teaching became obvious, so online tutoring system came up. There are lots of online tutoring systems, some of which are based on simple text and video. These systems received unsatisfactory feedbacks. In addition, concerning the importance of mathematics education of middle school, online tutoring systems are far from enough. Therefore, due to experiences, we put forward the Intelligent Tutoring System Based on semantic database. The data itself is the symbol, thus only data endowed with the meaning can be used, which is called information. In the concept of semantic, it has two characteristics. One is characteristics of the area, by which the users use to contact calculation ways of representation with the real world in computer science. Another is subjective characteristics. If the object of the system is user, so the concept of information has subjective characteristics, which can be described as the semantic description, as well as knowledge. Therefore, in this thesis, based on the research of the several key technologies, we establish a perceptual learning scene, to build an intelligence teaching system supporting network interactivity. The main research content is as follows:First of all, throughout the entire system, technological theories are researched. Then with ontology theory, the item bank makes the general machine understanding the content of problem, making the system more sharing and intelligent. We first study the in-depth knowledge of the problem before semantic mining. Then we go deep for the knowledge of extraction. Also, user information and feed-backs are researched, including the analysis and display of the users’ study. We put forward the title push platform, combined with the corresponding knowledge through the user’s study and knowledge of the question, to present the appropriate problems to user.Then, we use key technologies for the establishment of intelligent teaching system based on semantic item bank, so as to be close to the reality and user’s real learning situations, with different functions for students and teachers. Based on the system function module design, at least three learning modes are studied. Automatic checking online for synchronous application is studied too.Finally, the content is for the design and implementation of intelligent teaching system based on semantic item bank. We need to solve the representation of knowledge for the field of math, promoting the flexibility. At the same time, in the process of problem solving, the habits of users are maximumly got close to, for providing the best steps and simulated ways for divergent thinking. Application of online automatic checking is considered. After all-round learning, at least three learning modes for student users are studied. Customized presenting is from user’s learning, problem solving, tracking, recording and feedbacks. To facilitate students and teachers for viewing and analysing in the network interactive environment, we achieve a complete intelligent teaching system based on semantic item bank.
