Self-esteem is the need that individual perceived ability and the self value getting accepted or admit by the others.It's a pursuit for respect and value.Self-esteem has drive effect to the people's behavior.The achievement goal is the consciousness of the purpose of the capacity behavior when individual in situations related to the ability,It's the purpose of the individual behavior.Academic pressure is the students face the main stress in the school.There are few studies for the relationship between self-esteem and achievement goal.A freshman is a critical period of transition period of transition when student from middle students to college students.studying for the factors affecting the freshmen of achievement goal study will help the freshmen to establish reasonable learning goals,improve their ability,smooth finish school.This study adopts the method of longitudinal tracking to study the freshman of the relationship between self-esteem and achievement goal.The results showed that:(1)The freshmen global self-esteem and mastery approach goal and performance approach goal significant positive correlation,and mastery avoid goal and performance avoid goal significant negative correlation;Academic self-esteem and mastery approach goal and performance approach goal is significantly related to the significant negative correlation with performance to avoid goal.(2)At T1 time points the freshman's academic pressure plays a role of complete mediation in the global self-esteem and mastery approach goals at T2,T3 time point;plays a partial intermediary role in the global self-esteem and mastery avoiding goals,plays a role of complete mediation at T2,T3 time point.Academic pressure plays a cover role in academic self-esteem and performance approach goal,a completely intermediary role in academic self-esteem and performance avoid goal.(3)The effect factors of achievement goal of freshmen cross lag analysis found that the current time significantly positively predict academic self-esteem current master reaching goals.Academic self-esteem in T1 and T2 at ordinary times study significantly predict performance approach goal;The current academic pressure significantly positively predict the current mastery avoid goal.Not found have a stable forecast effect on the performance avoid goal variables,in T1 and T2 at ordinary times study academic self-esteem could predict the current time point of academic pressure,at T3 test,the overall self-esteem predict academic pressures the current point in time.Academic self-esteem and academic pressure on the influence of achievement goal is at the same time.(4)No significant correlation between implicit self-esteem and achievement goal.
