The Investigation And Research Of High School Mathematics Competition Winners In Hebei Province

Mathematical competition is one of the effective means to discover and train mathematics talents.Our country's middle school mathematics competition activity develops rapidly,progresses day by day,in the International Mathematics Olympic Games outstanding achievement,causes the world to praise.Mathematics competition is a hot topic in mathematics education research,but the research on the mathematics competition generally involves only the mathematics competition itself,policy discussions and suggestions in mathematics competition from the macro level,from the students in this group to carry out research on mathematics contest area is rare.This study obtained through high school math League,first division of students of Hebei province from 2002 to 2016(later referred to as the winners)investigation and analysis,in-depth understanding and explore the award-winning student growth experience,summed up the law of the unity of their success,to find out the most influential factors of the students in the process of growing up and reflect some of the common features,the analysis is given special hope students up on this basis.The author discusses this research from many angles and directions.First of all,the background,purpose and significance,specific content,research methods and framework,innovation and theoretical basis are introduced.Secondly,study the related literature at home and abroad,and gives a review of mathematics.Thirdly,it briefly introduces the history of mathematics competition,the thinking about the current situation of mathematics competition,the purpose of senior high school mathematics competition and the growth experience of Contemporary Mathematics elite.In addition,the investigation and research through questionnaire and interview on the winning students,respectively,the basic situation,the award-winning student's family,school,and academic performance are discussed in detail on the understanding of mathematics competition situation,explore the development regularity and factors of success and its growth trajectory.Finally,the combination of theoretical research,analysis and content data,the author draws some conclusions of this study,mainly include:(1)A good family background is a prerequisite for a student's success.(2)The atmosphere of the school competition is an important guarantee for students' success.(3)Excellent teachers are the main factors for students to succeed.(4)Good personal quality is the root cause of a student's success.And onthis basis,for the development of mathematics competition and training of mathematical talents put forward workable suggestions.
