A Research On Current Situation And Development Strategies Of College Badminton Events In Changchun

Badminton has been China's dominant project for a long time in the Olympic Games,professional badminton athletes have made excellent achievements in the Olympic Games,and normal people has already regarded badminton as one of our favorite fitness programs.The development of college badminton events has just begun,and we often regarded this sort of event as a way to entertain or exercise.Therefore,there is still a long way to go to expand events influence and improve operations management.The subject of this thesis is current situation and development strategies of college badminton events in Changchun.This research uses literature,expert interviews,questionnaire,logical analysis and mathematical statistics methods.we investigated ten colleges and universities in Changchun and then analyzed the main factors that influence the development of badminton events in Changchun.Finally,combining expert's opinions and successful experience from foreign badminton events,this research gives some strategies to develop college badminton events in Changchun in the future.This research indicates:1.The development of college badminton events in Changchun is mainly as follows:First,the administration of universities should pay more attention to badminton sport and its competition.Second,we don't hold a lot of badminton events in Changchun and thus,the competition level is not very high.Moreover,it is not very common that college badminton events are being commercial.Finally,the leading role of events resources allocation is the college,and the government and market are merely supporting roles.In a word,Changchun University badminton sports' development is relatively backward,2.The main factors that influence the development of college badminton events in Changchun are: regional environment,management institution,college's attention and tournament operation and management.3.The strategies for the development of college badminton events in Changchun are:balancing the position among colleges,government and market,speeding up the commercialization of college badminton events,and building up more brand badminton events.
