With the in-depth reform of the continuous development of the college physical education, the original and traditional teaching model was broken. Under the principle of"everything for students, for students of all, service all the students", the students can choose the sports item according to their interests and specialties. Because the material life has been improved constantly, badminton as a recreational activity becomes one of the critical parts of the healthy lifestyle. As an action which has the profound cultural background and the elegant quality, badminton gains greet of people who pursue fashion and concern for health. At the same time, badminton is the sport of every other network against the project, the hit or shot of every single ball can stimulate and amuse oneself. Badminton can also serves as a kind of communication which can enhance the friendship, and this is regarded as one of the most significant part of physical education in higher education and gains more popularity among students. The main projects of campus physical activities become more joyful, effective and continuous to meet the strategic requirement of fitness among all the people.The following conclusions can be drawn through the investigation and analysis. At the present time, some common colleges have not opened the optional course in Harbin non-governmental higher education .But some measures should be improved such as perfecting the curriculum, the mode of teaching and the method of examination; strengthening the qualification ofteachers; rasing the quantity of fields and establishments and the utilization ratio, Increasing the competition and communication and reinforcing the importance for leadership.
