In recent years,with the economic globalization and the internationalization of higher education,the number of international students studying in the United States has been increasing.International students generated more than $18.8 billion in net income into the US economy in 2010.California alone had nearly 100,000 international students with an economic impact of nearly $3.0 billion.With the increasing number of international students in the United States,the growing international student groups have had an increasing impact on the development of American colleges and universities.This paper is based on the statistical analysis of the international student data at the University of California at Berkeley from 2006 to 2015,and combined with the paper data collection of the International student development situation to further understand the premise of the University of California at Berkeley school funding,teacher situation,major settings and international student management services in four areas of development to explore the impact.The study found that the number of international undergraduates at the University of California at Berkeley rose from 3% of the initial number of school students to 14% of the total number of undergraduate students in 2015.The number of international graduate students has increased from18% to 24%.The impact of international students on the University of California at Berkeley also grows as the number of international students continues to increase.International students have brought considerable economic contribution to the operation of the university.Moreover,the funding also has further maintained the number of teachers and an increase of undergraduate tuition diversity.In addition,the international students choose to study the major with a great tendency,which has strengthened the strong major development of California at Berkeley.For the International Student Office,which is closely related to international students,the increasing number of international students has allowed the International Student Office to further improve and enrich the management of international students.With the further development of higher education,countries and universities on the international students and talent needs will become more and more vigorous.International students are no longer a group of "vulnerable" groups,and their presence not only positive impact for the development of colleges and universities.In the long run,international students can make a significant contribution to the development of a country's science and technology.
