Research On Rwanda Women Soccer Development System

Since 2001,Rwanda invested in women's soccer program to empower women and take the game to the highest level but still the results don't justify the efforts invested.The main objective of this study was to analyze the women soccer development system in Rwanda and find out the reasons affecting the results;outcome of this thesis clarified the actual situation of Rwanda women soccer development system performance,and provided the solutions to be implemented to improve the future Rwanda women soccer development system.The study findings witnessed the existence of Rwanda women soccer development system where different system institutions have been highlighted and their contributions but the overall performance of the system have been found that the population did not appreciate,and reason behind that performance have been described as lack of some institutions(academies,health center....),61% witnessed lack of complementary within the system and 67% agreed on system lack of accountability.The analysis also found the leak inside the system structures;lack of infrastructures have been noticed at a rate of 99%,and women are less enthusiastic about practicing soccer at a rate of 70% due to their culture belief.According to the development of Rwandan women soccer and the findings of this study,the following suggestions are made to improve the development of women soccer in Rwanda:1.To design the development pathway of Rwandan female soccer players from childhood to retirement level.2.A political model have to be implemented,by sensitizing from the cells level during the monthly,mandatory day of community service the important of women to practice sports(soccer included).3.The government should make sure that Rwanda women soccer players are empowered,protected and that there is a continuous development.4.The government should encourage the private sector to invest in women soccer development system to help young women to use their potential to reach at a professional level.5.In order to succeed,the Rwanda women soccer development system would surely need qualified employees.6.To pay attention on nutrition and health of players.So adequate nutrition and advice on health such as daily rest,drinks,recovery after training and recovery after injuries are indispensable.7.Develop strategies and policies to protect the development of Rwanda women soccer players,through the establishment of the Rwandan Women's League and Development evaluation system,To help them to be capable of competing at the international level.The institutions in charge of Rwandan women's development system should ensure coherence and Sound System where each player must have a person responsible of her every step of growth.
