| In recent years,the rapid development of information technology not only caused the change of students’ learning style,but also the way teachers teaching and assessment.As a productive skill,English writing has been playing an vital part in the task to cultivate students’ comprehensive language application ability.However,at the stage of junior middle school English writing teaching,the teaching,learning and the evaluation are divided into three irrelevant parts.As a result of this,how to teach Chinese students English writing has always been a dilemma for English teachers.Therefore,based on the existing problems in present junior middle school English writing class of and with the help of information technology,the study introduces success criteria which focus on learning process and student-oriented principle to junior middle school English writing teaching.Through the innovative use of success criteria in practice,the study on the one hand manages to achieve the integration of teaching,learning and the assessment purpose,on the other hand to raise the students’ independent learning and self-reported consciousness as well as the improve of learning habits and the academic achievement.Under the information technology environment the study focuses on the students’ self-assessment,peer assessment and teachers’ feedback strategies in the application practice of success criteria in junior middle school English writing teaching,following theories such as assessment as learning(AaL),The integration of teaching,learning and the assessment and the process-oriented English writing.To clarify the research background and current situation,the author firstly analyzed the problems existing in present English writing class by using observational and documentary method.Secondly,by applying the design-based research method,the author spend a semester in a middle of Lanzhou to operate a three-round research and then collect the lesson and experience from the former practice to perfect the later one.Finally,after 3continuous round of practice,the study shows that:(1)success criteria truly has positive effect on students English writing ability,especially on the structure,expression of logic and the detail arrangements;(2)the application of success criteria supported by information technology can not only enhance the students’ learninginterest,but also provide multiple resources and assessment;(3)the success criteria supported by information technology is particularly beneficial to students on the average level. |
