Vocabulary arrangement is an important component in teaching materials,whether the arrangement is reasonable or not can feedback teaching effects directly.This thesis is based on the vocabulary arrangement of Experiencing Chinese and Learning Chinese in Thailand.It is also combined with the vocabulary arrangements of the textbooks which was used during my exercitation in Thailand,using literature analysis,comparative analysis,inductive methods of statits-tics.According to it I found each grades' students' Chinese level are alike,they can improve slowly.I want to search the causes of these problems and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the arrangements in Thailand elementary textbooks.Found some textbooks' quantity of vocabulary and distributions of vocabulary are reasonable,and some of the textbooks still have some deficiency in terms of vocabulary distributions and cultural vocabulary.From the point of some current Chinese textbooks in Thailand,most of the textbooks in vocabulary arrangements still have some problems especially in the primary stage of Chinese teaching,the vocabulary arrangement will affect the students' Chinese enhancemen t,bring Chinese teachers and Chinese learners lots of troubles.The first chapter discusses the source and meaning of the research,analysis of the pr esent condition and background of the vocabulary arrangement research.Second chapter m ainly discusses the amount of vocabulary,vocabulary teaching material,distribution of voca bulary,vocabulary repetition rate,and the cultural vocabulary of two sets of books in Tha iland primary stage schools,analyzes the characteristics of vocabulary arrangement in Exp erience Chinese and Learning Chinese in Thailand.The third chapter studies the vocabul ary arrangement of the textbooks in Saint Francisco Xavier Mathanothai school compared with the vocabulary arrangement of the two books above.The thesis also analyze the eff ect of the teaching materials.The last chapter summarizes some requirements in vocabular y arrangement of a textbook.In addition,the thesis put forward some suggestions that cul tural vocabulary is an essential part in textbooks.We hope these suggestions will be hel pful to those who might be interested in compiling textbook.
