In high school,English education plays an important role in cultivating students' language quality,it needs to meet the demand of the development of students' mind,emotion and attitude,work and school,and the needs of the development of the future at the same time.And more importantly,it need to meet the requirement of national economic construction and scientific and technological development.As a result,high school language teaching has been the hot topic,especially in recent years,the importance of English teaching is increasingly highlighted,English teachers and students spend more time,energy and money on English learning,however,they can not reach the expected effect,even for some students graduated from high school,their English level and the actual language using ability remains to be improved.Under the background of new curriculum reform,the cultivation of student's language sense in English teaching become critical.How to develop and improve students' ability in English language sense effectively is very important.So the study on the development of speech and language is required.English teachers should have the knowledge of the connotation and the development rules of language sense,equipping themselves with the theoretical knowledge of the mind,and better guiding the teaching practice.This Paper is a comparative study on Piaget and Chomsky's ideas about language sense development.It selected the two scholars' theory as the breakthrough point.Through comparative analysis on similarities and differences of their thoughts,this paper tries to grasp the essence and the laws of language development in an all-round way.Therefore,this paper is divided into nine parts:At the part of introduction.It discusses the background and the reasons for selecting the topic and give the definition of language sense at home and abroad,Piaget's language development ideas,Piaget language development thought and comparative study of two language development in a more comprehensive review and analysis.The Chapter ? is to study the ideas and methods.Through the comparative study,we can grasp the law of the sense of language accurately,take a good view of the practical English teaching and put forward effective Suggestions.The research mainly uses the literature method and the comparative method.The chapter?is related to the concept of language sense development.The chapter ? is a comparison of the psychological mechanism between Piaget and Chomsky.Piaget uses cognitive schema theory to analyze the development of cognition,thought and language,while Chomsky's theory of language development is based on the transformation of the theory of generative grammar.The chapter ? compares the influence factors of Piaget andChomsky.Piaget stresses the interplay of the sense of language,and Chomsky emphasizes the context in which the language is developed.The chapter ? is the conclusion and revelation.Through the comparative analysis shows that Piaget and Chomsky one major difference between the two is reflected in the development of the language sense psychological mechanism,the influence factors of language development and language three aspects,such as the development of the stage.
