In this study, cognitive development of Piaget's theory of music teaching in primary and secondary schools in the study was carried out to explore some of the thinking and try to explain in detail the theory of Piaget's cognitive development at the same time, and explore its theory of primary and secondary Music Education, and through case analysis on the cognitive development of Piaget's Theory in the primary and secondary school music education in the application of strategy and cognitive development of Piaget's theory of the significance of music education in primary and secondary schools, to draw the conclusions of this study, as follows:1, primary and secondary school music education activities should be child-centered, respect and develop the children's initiative2, primary and secondary school music teacher attention to children's cognitive development characteristics of the various stages, and fully in accordance with the characteristics of the child's age for Music Education3, attention to children in the music curriculum of practical activities, pay attention to activities in the cognitive aspects of children's music an important role.4, a music teacher in the educational activities should be to play"oriented"in nature, are good at promoting children's awareness of the imbalance. This study not only enriches the theory of Piaget's cognitive development research practice, but also for China's primary and secondary school music education reform played a role in guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory has theoretical and practical significance.
