Joint attention is an important part of social communication and social interaction,Autism children exist social communication and social interaction defects.It is common to think that autism children have joint attention but there are shortcomings,However,the study of how these defects are reflected in the different types and levels of autism children’s joint attention and whether the nature of the joint.attention object have an effect on them should be expanded and perfected:.Joint attention as an important basis for social and cognitive processes,and its in depth study is necessary.To this end,this study is divided into two parts.The first part is the experimental study,which contains three experiments,Mainly concerned about the different types of joint attention and three categories of children(include children with autism,children with mental retardation,ordinary children)was selected to explore the factors that affect the development of different types of joint attention of children with autism.Experiment 1 aims to explore the effects of the different presentation of the material(sound presentation and no sound presentation)and clue prompt mode(with language prompts and no language prompts)on the close responding to joint attention of autistic children;Experiment 2 aims to explore the effects of the nature of the stimulus material(social and non-social materials)and clue prompt mode(with language prompts and no language prompts)on the long-range responding to joint attention of autistic children;Experiment 3 is to find the environmental impact factors that are easy to awaken the initiating joint attention of children with autism.The second part is clinical intervention,in order to explore effective ways to improve the joint attention of children with autism,and to verify the effectiveness of experimental results.Research result shows:Experiment 1:Autism children exist developmental barriers in close responding to joint attention.In the correct number of reactions was significantly less than ordinary children;In the correct response time was significantly longer than the children with mental retardation and ordinary children;Autistic children’s close responding to joint attention has been significantly affected by the way of clue prompt mode,the correct number of reactions with language prompts was significantly more than no language prompts;Autism children ’s close responding to joint attention has been significantly affected by the presentation of the material,In the correct number of reactions and the correct response time tend to material no sound presentation.And when material sound presentation,the correct number of responses was significantly lower than that of children with mental retardation and ordinary children.Experiment 2:Autism children exist development obstacles in long-range responding to joint attention,manifested in the correct number of responses was significantly lower than the children with mental retardation and ordinary children.Children’s long-range responding to joint attention has a significant impact on the nature of the material,The correct number of responses to social material is higher than that of non-social material.The long-range responding to joint attention of children is also significantly influenced by the way of clue prompt mode,and the correct number of responses when there is a cue prompt is higher than that of no language prompt.The long-range responding to joint attention of autism children has been significantly affected by the interactions of the nature of the stimulus material and clue prompt mode,displayed in the correct number of responses in the non-social material with language prompts higher than non-social material without language prompts,social material with language prompts that are below the social material without language prompts;The correct response time in non-social materials is shorter than that in the social material,and the correct response time of social material was significantly longer than children with mental retardation and ordinary children.Experiment 3:Children’s eye contact behaviors in the initiating joint attention were significantly affected by the nature of the picture,which performed that negative picture more likely to cause eye contact;The time of first appears point behavior of autism children is significantly longer than that of ordinary children;Children ’s eye contact behaviors in the initiating joint attention were significantly affected by the nature of the toys,manifested in the number of eye contact behaviors times in static toys were higher than that in dynamic toys;In the toy material,Children’s eye contact behaviors numbers in the initiating joint attention were significantly lower than the children with mental retardation and ordinary children.Clinical intervention studies:Autism children ’s close responding to joint attention has been significantly affected by the presentation of the material,showing a preference for no sound presentation.In summary,the study concluded that:1.Autism children have joint attention,but compared with mental retardation children and ordinary children,There are varying degrees of difference between high and low levels.2.Children’s responding to joint attention is influenced by the clue prompt mode,and with language prompts,the quality is higher.3.There is preference in the responding joint attention in autism children,performance in the close responding to the joint attention on the materials without sound presentation and in the long-range responding to the joint attention on the non-social materials.4.The initiating joint attention in autism children continue to showing the development of abnormal,the eye contact behaviors,pointing,showing and other initiating joint attention behaviors are to some extent affected by the different nature of the materials.5.Clinically,autism children ’s close responding to joint attention has been significantly affected by the presentation of the material,showing a preference for material no sound presentation,and the results of the experiment 1 were validated.
