The Characteristics And Countermeasures Of The Influence Of Contemporary Social Thoughts On The Ideological And Behavior Of College Students In China

In contemporary society, the rapid development and constant upgrade in various information diffusing media have refreshed our opinions of traditional views of it and reception of information. It has become extremely convenient for the spreading of diverse ideological information and acknowledgment as well as reception of the information. As is known to all, the continual deepening of reform and opening up policy has brought not only rocketing development of the economy, but also the exchange and collision of numerous ideologies.With a variety of social ideologies crowding into the society, the mainstream values and they exert mutual influences on each other. College students, standing in the forefront of the times, are courageous to always accept something new. The features of pursuing individualism and freedom determines their identity as receivers, disseminators and practitioners of those social ideologies. College students hold the impulse of the times all the time, standing in the forefront and taking up the majority of intellectuals. They are the future and hope of the country. Therefore, their acceptance and practices of the mainstream values are extremely essential, which will impact the dissemination and practicing effects to a large extent.Social ideologies,as systematic ideological and theoretical systems,will definitely employ the newly thriving diffusing paths to disseminate their own theoretical views under the circumstances of developing various emerging diffusing media. As pivotal receiving groups of social ideologies, college students will be affected differently by these ideologies on the premise of self-variation of ideologies themselves. The paper is divided into four sections: The first section defines social ideologies, laying solid foundation for research of the whole paper. The second section, the main part of the paper,analyzes features of influences by social ideologies on college students in our country from six aspects--influencing paths, influencing contents, influencing time and space,influencing manners, influencing processes, and influencing consequences. The third section summarizes the existing laws, diffusing laws and interaction laws on the basis of clarifying the new features of influences on college students from the contemporary social ideologies and tentative generalization. Then the reasons of new features of these influences are analyzed concretely from four aspects--economic and technological progress, adaptation to the social environment, transformation of appearance of social ideologies and self-variation of college students.The fourth section aims at discussing corresponding countermeasures to the features,laws and reasons of the new features.This part explains the stance of the whole paper, exploring how to guide college students to respond to various harmful social ideologies and boycott the negative influences of social ideologies based on the features, laws and reasons as well as advocate the theme of socialist core values.
