Based on the development trend of educational reform and the standard of high school biology curriculum, the quality education is put forward to cultivate students comprehensive development, innovation ability and practical ability. It is particularly important to change the traditional teaching methods, and to explore the innovative methods suitable for students, teachers and education development. The author finds out that the strategy of "peer assistant learning" is helpful to inspire students to take part in teaching activities and encourage them to cooperate each other, which is beneficial to the comprehensive development of students and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching. In this study, the author chooses a practical study of the effectiveness of peer learning in the classroom teaching in the western part of a rural school with weak teachers, students with poor learning base and poor learning habits, but relatively high quality education. The studies are as follows:to comb the research and development of peer-to-peer mutual assistance at home and abroad through the literature survey;and then to select the two classes with few difference to carry out comparative tests. The experimental class was taken peer learning methods for biological classroom teaching, while the other one was taken traditional teaching methods. Two and half months of teaching experiments was costed. The tests on students biological and non-intelligence factors were carried out before and after teaching experiments, whose data were analyzed by SPSS,EXCEL and other tools for scientific analysis,.The questionnaire survey, interviews Survey method and other methods were used to supplement the results of peer learning study in secondary school biology teaching in order to evaluate the actual teaching effect of peer learning. The results of teaching research showed that this peer learning is effective as follow:? conducive to the improvement of the overall learning class:The latest test results of the experimental class were significantly higher than the previous test results(t-test is significant,Sig = 0.000<0.05);the test results of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class after the teaching experiments(t-test is significant,Sig = 0.029<0.05);? benefit to the development of non-intellectual level of students:In non-intelligence level difference test,AX(learning anxiety),LR(learning responsibility),IM(motivation),LA(learning enthusiasm),DO(dominance),CI(awareness of interest)factors of the experimental class were significantly improved than the previous measurement(the mean T value were among 0.003-0.045,and less than 0.05).After the experiment,AX,LR,IM,LA,DO and CI of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class(the mean T value were among 0.000-0.032,and less than 0.05);? to promote the harmonious relationship between teachers and students. In addition, according to the shortcomings of this study, the author rethought and put forward the corresponding suggestions and research prospects, and hoped to provide a reference for the future "peer assistant learning" related teaching practice and research!...
