With the large-scale enrollment in colleges and universities, higher education in our country has entered the popularization education phase. Therefore, the quality of education has become a hot issue of common concern. Various universities began to strengthen the construction of high-quality course in order to improve education quality and to complete the transformation and upgrade of the university course. An effective way to promote the construction of high-quality courses is to establish a high-quality course website(HCW).As a novel teaching method, HCW not only increases the students’ learning interest and initiative, but also improves the quality of university education. However, there are still some problems in HCW, such as poor website interaction and slow updating. The HCW named“Business web design and production” in Yang Ling Vocational Technical College was awarded provincial-level excellent course in 2010. However, users found some problems in this HCW, namely, poor website interaction and weak teaching assistance function. Aiming at these problems, this thesis establishes the web-based HCW teaching assistant system. With the help of the new functions, i.e., curriculum resource sharing, teaching interaction and teaching effect evaluation, this system can enrich the teaching methods, enhance students’ self-study ability, and improve the quality of education.The design pattern of the system is the popular “J2EE Web of Spring MVC +Hibernate”. The system is composed of "client/server" three-tier architecture, friendly interface designed with Photoshop and Dreamweaver, Tomcat as Web server,Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as data storage. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)The functional requirements of the system is determined after detailed analysis.(2)System architecture is constructed using J2 EE technology, system conceptual model and datasheet association model are established.(3)The web-based HCW teaching assistant system, with user management, assignment management, message management and examination management functions, is designed and developed based on the B/S architecture.(4)The improved genetic algorithm is used to complete the combination of the test paper, which improves the diversity of the examination paper, reduces the repetition rate ofthe test paper, and reduces the maintenance cost of the system code.(5)The system code, system function and system compatibility are tested using white box and black box testing method.After the test, it is found that the system is stable and reliable, which meets the expected goal of this thesis, has certain practicality.
