Motherland identity is the primary content of "five identities",it is the inherent requirement of further strengthening the education of Marx's "five views",it is also the common psychological basis for the realization of other ” four identities”.Xi Jinping,general secretary of the central national working conference in 2014 and in Tibet in 2015 to discuss the work of the forum stressed the importance of enhancing the people of all ethnic groups to the motherland.College students are young people with culture and quality of the outstanding representatives of national rejuvenation and prosperity of the country's hope.The level of College Students' ideological consciousness and their recognition of the motherland are directly related to the speed of national construction and social development.Ideological education in Colleges and universities has made great achievements in recent years,the identity of college students to the motherland is very high,and the awareness of national sovereignty is strong.But it is worth noting and concern,at present,the international environment is complex and changeable,and various contradictions in the social transition period are intertwined,some students tend to dilute the concept of the motherland.Therefore,how to further enhance the identity of college students to the great motherland is the main problem in this paper.In order to achieve the purpose of this study,this paper makes a practical study on the identity of the 7 universities in Chongqing.Through the survey found that the majority of college students have a high degree of national identity.The main manifestations are as follows: the will to defend the territorial sovereignty of the country is firm;always adhere to the unity of the Chinese nation is not separated from each other;highly affirmed the practical value of excellent traditional culture,etc..At the same time,there are a small number of college students lack of awareness of territorial integrity,national unity consciousness fade,the motherland honor to be further improved.According to the investigation that the motherland college students is not high degree of recognition is the adverse effects caused by social transformation;the formation of the impact of multiple social thought;ideological and political education work is not in place and obstacles from the family environment.,and so on.To further enhance the recognition of college students to the motherland,we need to learn from the historical experience on the basis of the following four aspects: That is to strengthen the modern territory education,cultivating students' sense of belonging to the territory;to strengthen the national unity education,cultivating students' sense of national identity;strengthen the excellent traditional culture education,cultivating students' cultural sense of honor;vigorously promote the motherland development achievements,cultivate students' sense of pride in our country.The basic structure of the paper is arranged as follows: In the introduction part,the author systematically reviews and summarizes the domestic and foreign researches on the identity of the motherland,and introduces the main research contents and research methods.The first part is the theoretical analysis of the related concepts of identity and national identity.Clarify the specific connotation of different disciplines,identify the difference between the national identity and national identity,and provide theoretical support for the follow-up study.The second part of the in-depth understanding of College Students' identity of the motherland.Analysis of the important significance of Strengthening College Students' national identity.The third part focuses on the identity of the college students in Chongqing.Based on the questionnaire survey and structural interview,this paper analyzes the present situation of College Students' identity in Chongqing,and points out the reasons for their low identity.The fourth part reviews the past beneficial experience of Strengthening College Students' national identity.To collect,summarize and sum up the specific measures taken by the party and the state,the Chongqing municipal government and the local colleges and universities in Chongqing in recent years in order to enhance the college students' national identity.The fifth part puts forward the effective strategies to enhance college students' national identity.Based on the existing experience,to develop a "four sense" as the starting point,effectively promote the students' recognition of the great motherland.The conclusion points out that the ideological education in our country still needs continuous innovation.Reflection on the shortcomings of this article,pointing out that the space for further improvement.
