Mind mapping is a thinking tool which was invented by a famous British psychologists dongni·bozan(Tong Buzan)in the 1860 s.later,the invention was used as the "ultimate thinking tool".Creating mind mapping needs "whole brain" thinking together,this is in line with neurons find new connections explosively in the brain thinking,so it is widely used in education,business,management and other fields.Mind mapping can help the brain to better understand and imagine by Association and so many educators try to combine mind mapping with teaching to stimulate students ' interest in learning and improve the quality of teaching,such as combining mind mapping with the writing teaching.But there are many problems in exercises teaching in primary school.While grade four is the critical period of thinking ability transition,I try to apply the mind map to grade four in the writing teaching,with a view to cultivate students ' thinking ability,improve writing quality.Firstly,the paper used the method of literature analysis introduced the definition of mind mapping,the method of drawing,the theories of mind mapping being used in writing teaching.Secondly,through questionnaires investigation to students and teachers of grade four,I analyzed the problems of teachers' teaching and students ' learning in the writing teaching,though investigation,I found that the reason is that most teachers adhere to the traditional teaching model,do not pay much attention to students center position and the training of thinking ability;and the ability of expression is weak and the method of observation is not suitable.According to the problems,I found the specific reasons,namely teachers' teaching object,teaching contents and teaching methods need to be improved;students logical thinking and thinking in images,creative thinking needs to be improved in writing teaching.thirdly,I selected the Jiangsu education press grade four assignments for example,and sort out its contents and objectives,according to it,I construct writing teaching mode.Prior to the student drawing,the teacher can use software to draw,which can play a guiding role for students.I Try to use the mode to cultivate students ' required logical thinking,image thinking,creative thinking in writing work.At last,the paper tell the significance of mind mapping' application in writing teching to teachers,students,and the class.Through the writing test of the control class and experimental class,I can get the conclusion that drawing a mind mapping in the writing teaching can improve the level of students ' writing.through the practical research of mind mapping in grade four writing teaching,I believe that mind mapping assist grade four writing teaching which can improve the present situation of students' writing.
