Research On The Socialist Core Values Leading The Cultural Construction Of Science And Engineering Universities

"The ideological and political education runs through the whole process of education and teaching" is a major measure to create a new situation in the development of higher education in our country,and it is also an important part of university culture education.On the one hand,as the backbone of higher education,the socialist core values determines the goal orientation and value orientation of personnel training,so we must highlight its leading role of in all kinds of fields and sectors.On the other hand,as the booster of socialist core values,the university culture construction can subtly make core values become the basic follow the students’ daily life,which is more particular in the process of training students majoring in science and Engineering.Therefore,taking the socialist core values as the guide,and building the long-term mechanism of university culture in science and engineering universities has our inevitable choice.In this paper,we take Marx’s human overall development theory as the guiding ideology,and socialist core values as the focal point,and university culture construction as the breakthrough point.Under the premise of a large number of literature research,we explains the basic connotation and the law of university culture construction,and systematically reviews its development process and existing problems.Based on that,we start to discuss the relationship between two of them.The socialist core values have cultural attributes,which needs to rely on cultural products to become reality.The university culture construction contains value orientation,which needs the correct value guidance to prosper.So achieving both goals is our best solution.To make it happen,we need to innovate ideas to clear ideological barriers,and optimize path to break down institutional barriers.In other words,we must reveal the unique charm of socialist core values through “ big science and engineering view”,“big education view”,“big culture view”,“big practice view”,and cultivate the vitality of university culture through reforming of curriculum design,improving the knowledge structure,exploiting hidden education,developing internal and external resources.Finally,to create a large number of strong faith,high quality talents.
