Research On The International Awareness Education For College Students In The Background Of Globalization

With the intensive development of globalization,the international awareness education for college students has become the “New Theme” of ideological and political education in our country.As an important part of ideological and political education,its function is not only to spread international knowledge,but also to help contemporary college students to better perceive the world.What's more important is to guide them to establish sound international awareness,enhance cross-cultural communication skills and enhance their international quality,so as to cultivate them to be international talents standing on the world.The launching of international awareness education for college students is aimed primarily to nurture their international awareness.The international awareness level of college students is largely dependent on the level of international awareness education for college students.To find the current status of college students' international awareness so that to better perfect and enhance the international awareness education for college students,this paper has made the investigation among four universities by the guide of all-round development of human beings of Marxism theory,globalization theory and the rational patriotism theory.According to the status,it can be found there are many problems of college students' international awareness which is specifically manifested in three dimensions:knowledge,ability and quality.The existing problems are specifically including: lack of profound understanding of international awareness connotation;lack of solid foundation of international knowledge theory;limited recognition of the world;lack of ability for cross-cultural communication;the problem of prominent irrational patriotism,including ultra-nationalism and national nihilism.The defective international awareness education is undoubtedly deemed as the main factor causing the college students' problems in international awareness.The problems are mainly related to the lack of attention to the international awareness education in colleges and universities,the unreasonable construction of the international awareness education subject,the non-standardized construction of international awareness education team,the imperfect mode of international awareness education and the weak supervision and guidance of the consensus of international awareness education.In order to further strengthen the international awareness education for college students,we should take the foreign experience as reference.Besides,the recognition level should be raised toward the education of international awareness,the “New Theme” status should be confirmed,specialized courses for developing international awareness should be required and the internationalization level of universities shall be elevated.The construction of international awareness education discipline shall be perfected,the teaching concept shall be reconstructed and the course management and teaching material shall be upgraded.The teambuilding shall be enhanced,the international background of the entire teaching team shall be elevated,the international and special quality of teaching team shall be further promoted,and the structure of teaching team shall be systemically projected and planned.The approaches for international awareness education shall be enriched,the tool carrier shall be effectively adopted,various theme activities aimed at international awareness shall be enriched and the international resources shall be sufficiently explored and adopted.The supervision and guidance of consensus in international awareness shall be strengthened,the internet consensus shall be greatly controlled and supervised and the international consensus shall be positively guided.
