Research On The Hani People's Traditional Sports Culture In Rural Jiangcheng Countyyunnan Province On The Chinese Border

Hani & Yi Autonomous County of Jiangcheng County is located in Southern Yunnan Province,bordering Vietnam and Laos.Jiangcheng County,so the county is known as a “thoroughfare to three countries”.Jiangcheng County is a multi-ethnic place inhabited by 25 minority nationalities including main peoples,such as the Hani people and Yi people,and long-dwelling peoples,Lahu people and Han people.There are various traditional cultures with ethnic characteristics in this county,among which the Hani people's traditional sports culture prevailing in the border villages has distinctive features,and serves as a means of cultural exchanges on the border.The special geographical conditions of Jiangcheng County contribute to the distinguishing regional characteristics of the hani people's traditional sports culture.Under such a background of sports culture,a traditional rural sports culture with ethnic characteristics came into being,from which traditional sports events with ethnic characteristics were derived.The Hani people living in the frontier of jiangcheng City are an ethnic group that believe in animism and religion,and usually carry out sports activities at religious festivals and sacrificial ceremonies.In this study,with the Hani people's traditional rural sports culture in the border villages in Jiangcheng County as an object of study,by literature method,field survey,expert interview,case study and logical reasoning,we collected and collated date concerning the development,characteristics,current status,heritage and constraining factors of the Hani people's traditional rural sports culture in the border villages in Jiangcheng County,making preparations for thesis writing.Then we reviewed the Hani people's traditional rural sports culture in the border villages in Jiangcheng County,making preparations for thesis writing.Then we reviewed the Hani people's traditional rural sports culture in the border villages in Jiangcheng County,aimed at drawing attention to the Hani people's traditional rural sports culture.Our study showed that Chinese experts and scholars had done extensive research into the Hani people's traditional sports and its cultural development,but not into the traditional rural sports culture yet.The special geographical environment of Jiangcheng County Contributes to the diverse development form and distinctive features of the Hani people's traditional rural sports,but it has also fallen into the plight of development as other ethnic traditional sports do for the following major reasons: the heritage of the Hani culture has a restrictive effect on the heritage and development of traditional rural sports;there is a shortage of talents and professionals for traditional rural sports;the high mobility of rural young middle-aged people directly affects the development of traditional rural sports;the change of traditional lifestyle affects the development of the Hani people's traditional rural sports;the rapidly-developing modern sports and backward regional economy have impacts on the Hani people's sports culture.
