| The report of the 17 th CPC National Congress pointed out the goals of the development of ecological civilization.Besides,relevant systems as well as policies and related measures were formulated.Based on the report,people are more longing for a personality that corresponds to ecological civilization,which is known as the ecological personality.College students in Yunnan are not only the potential talents for the development of Southwest in China but also the main force the ecological civilization in Yunnan province.Therefore,it is necessary to develop ecological personalities of college students in Yunnan in order to meet the demands of society,development in Yunnan province,self-development of college students and the development of ecological civilization in China.Firstly,three aspects of needs for cultivating college student’s ecological personalities were discussed.To be specific,the three kinds of needs are: need for promoting Yunnan province as the pioneer in development of ecological civilization,needs for promoting college student’s development and perfecting their personalities,and the need for cultivating college students as well as constructing harmonious campus.Secondly,the theoretical bases for the present study were introduced.The related theories for the study were composed of the following ones: Marxism in ecology and anthropology;Educational psychology theory in personality cultivation;Ecological philosophy theory in human value and moral development.Furthermore,the present condition of college students’ ecological personality cultivation in Yunnan province,major achievement and shortcomings in previous research as well as possible reasons were illustrated.Finally,the principle and approaches to cultivating college students’ ecological personality were pointed out.only by synthesizing all kinds of effective measures can the college student’s ecological personality cultivation in Yunnan province obtain effective result. |
