Probability is an important module in the course of mathematics,it is widely used in many fields,such as spaceflight,medicine,agriculture and so on.Probability plays an important role in the development of the society.Students' learning in probability to a large extent depends on the perfect degree of the probability of teacher knowledge system.The purpose of this paper is to explore the cognitive level of mathematics prospective teachers' high school probability concept,through the investigation to find out students' cognitive current situation and the existing main problems,then put forward targeted suggestions.On the basis of a large number of literature analysis to determine the content of this paper test for high school probability of three kinds of definition,namely : the statistical definition,classical probability model,geometric probability model.And the related concepts are clearly defined.The main part of the research into the following four steps: The first step to prepare forecast volume,test the feasibility of the test paper;The second step is to make a formal test volume,the grade three of 204 mathematics prospective teachers was tested;The third step uses the SOLO analysis method to carry on the level division to the examination paper answer,as to achieve the result of the statistic;Fourth step case study.The subjects were part of the junior students at China West Normal University and Le shan Normal University.The test results are analyzed and summarized in the fourth chapter,the fifth chapter and the sixth chapter.In the seventh chapter,several representative test volumes are studied,and shows the research conclusion in chapter eight.Research has shown that for the sample,the students of classical subscheme overall cognitive level is higher,followed by geometric model,and for statistical definitions of cognitive level is relatively low.Main problems: Vague understanding of probability and frequency;Confusion of classical probability and geometry;Heavy operation,light understanding;The understanding of the basic concepts such as random events and basic events is still in the middle school;the knowledge of the plate is not close enough.Combination of number and shape is insufficient,the connection between the mathematical knowledge plate is not quite close together.Finally,some suggestions are put forward based on the conclusions of the study,and the cognitive framework of the probability concept of normal students is obtained.
