China has always attached importance to teacher education.As a teacher of the future,normal students are directly related to the development and future of the country and the nation.As a mathematics prospective teacher,what knowledge should be available to better mathematics teaching has become a hot topic in mathematics education research in recent years.Regarding the answer to this question,the "Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching "(MKT)framework proposed by American scholar Ball and his team provides us with a reasonable theoretical basis.Therefore,based on the MKT theory,this paper selects the probability part of the middle school mathematics textbook to study the MKT level of the mathematics prospective teacher,aiming to understand the current situation and development of the MKT of the mathematics prospective teacher.This paper investigates the 127 junior and senior mathematics teachers who are going to the teacher position through questionnaire survey.Survey results show:(1)The overall level of MKT of mathematics prospective teacher needs to be improved,especially the lack of knowledge of horizontal and vertical content,which is manifested in the lack of ability to examine the structure of mathematical knowledge from a high point of view;(2)Under different personal backgrounds,there are differences in the MKT levels of mathematics prospective teacher.Among them,the differences in the three aspects of the family teaching experience,the type of classes attended at the university stage,and the reading of books and periodicals are obvious;(3)The knowledge development of each sub-category of MKT is not balanced.The general content knowledge level is significantly higher than the other four types of knowledge level,while the horizontal and vertical content knowledge level is much lower than the other four types of knowledge level.According to the survey results and cause analysis,the following suggestions are proposed for the curriculum of mathematics prospective teacher:(1)Suggestions for mathematics prospective teacher: First,increase their own subject knowledge by excavating the tacit knowledge of textbooks and understanding the mathematical nature of concepts;second,understand the content of the course from the perspective of "teaching",and reasonably translate the knowledge learned bythe university into the probability teaching of high school;third,change their own learning concepts,read more mathematics journals,and improve their theoretical knowledge base.(2)Suggestions on the curriculum of normal students: On the one hand,it is necessary to strengthen the connection between mathematics and higher mathematics in primary and secondary schools,and to open more courses on elementary mathematics,mathematics history,and mathematics culture from a high point of view;Mathematical education courses or micro-teaching courses based on video analysis,to cultivate the ability of mathematics teachers to learn from teaching.
