With the approaching of the "Cloud" era and the continuous development of the Internet technology,how to deal with the emergence of a large number of data earns more and more researchers' attention and thinking.The big data,different from the ordinary data traditionally,is characterized by rich information,wide coverage,high value as well as universality.It becomes a key study for researchers increasingly about how to make full use of this information resource with a large amount of data emerged with "Cloud".Truly make full use of the big data by applying professional data processing technology to obtain values contained in the big data and apply them in various fields for realizing resource integration,which is the challenge that the big data time brings to us.There are a sea of data accumulated in the field of education,and what educational researchers focus on is how to apply the big data technology into the education rationally.This paper studies the research status quo in this field at home and abroad through analyzing existing research literatures related to the application of the big data technology in education field at home and abroad.the existing domestic and foreign research on the use of large data technology in the field of education and teaching literature to understand the current situation in the field of research at home and abroad.In the process of study,the paper adopts mainly the literature research method to search the CNKI.Net and Chinese Science Citation Database,two Chinese and foreign literature databases with wide coverage and comprehensive contents to conduct a coordinate themes search of key words "Big Data" and "Education".Derive the searched literatures to compare and analyze,and carefully analyze the research situations including the study of the literature amount,research hotspots,research keywords,researchers,research institutions,literature journals published,research areas and research trends.Intuitively reflect the research results via visual analysis software like the citespace and big data Moojing,systematically compare the both,summarize the universality and difference in domestic and foreign researches to conclude research experience.Analyzethe advantages and disadvantages of the existing researches to get suggestions which will be used as reference in later researches and provide help for researches studying the application of big data technology in education.An observation to this study shows that although more and more domestic big data technology is applied into the education teaching,there is not a close combination between them in domestic researches.At present,the domestic researches put their focus on specific disciplines and specific large data results,but they fail to find breakthrough as a result of poor awareness on innovation.Therefore,more attention should be paid to opportunities to find a breakthrough in the future researches.
