The history of life science shows the continuous development of scientific conclusions,methods and techniques.It also shows the wisdom,scientific spirit,scientific attitude and life experience of scientists from ancient times.It has many functions,such as cultivating students' scientific accomplishment,humanistic spirit,creative spirit,national spirit and international outlook.To China people's Education Press published in January 2007 three compulsory high school biology textbook,published with the United States Bob Jones University Press "Biology" high school textbooks as the research object,uses the comparison from the history of science,integrity,information,continuity,objectivity and nationality of the 5 aspects of detailed comparative study,teach biology textbooks use the version high school people of Guizhou province by using the method of questionnaire of high school biology teachers and students,it Chinese teach history of life science edition of the views and the history of life science teaching or learning value questionnaire.A comparative study of the history of life science found Chinese textbook of life science history focusing on biology showed less;focus on the scientific conclusion of this;the process of exploring the short time;the lack of wrong ideas in the development of science;the Chinese scientists achieve less.Bob Jones version of the textbook of life science history focuses on showing the biology is complete;presenting scientific conclusions;scientific exploration of long time presented;don't avoid the wrong point of view of scientific development;the scientific achievements of American scientists less.A survey of the Guizhou province high school biology teachers and students,teachers think that the discovery of general Chinese education version of the life science history does not cover the life science branch,the amount of information and is not comprehensive,life science history is helpful to the classroom teaching,and students to study the life science history of interest;the integrity and quantity of information the students about the history of life science views of each half,and that would explain the history of life science teachers in the classroom listening to the teacher.According to the comparison of textbooks and questionnaire results,writing the history of life science books,suitable for senior high school students of Chinese contribution of traditional culture to the development of biology,teachers can guide students to expand the extracurricular reading in teaching.
