May 28 to 29,2014,the Xi general secretary in the second Central Xinjiang Work Forum pointed out that all ethnic groups should understand each other,learn from each other,mutual respect,mutual appreciation,mutual tolerance,mutual help,like pomegranate seed Tightly hold together.To strengthen the integration of national exchanges and exchanges,to promote the establishment of "build a each nation embedded community environment” social structure and community environment.Embedded live also has become a hot topic studied by current academic circle.From the reality of the border areas,the construction of embedded residential community is not only related to the stability and harmony between ethnic groups,but also become an important way to promote national unity.As the main measure of the practice of the embedded residence,Xinjiang's university provides a platform and environment for the exchange between different nationalities.On this background,this paper based on the practice process of the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms of Xinjiang's Colleges and universities current situation and can achieve the social effect of empirical research,in order to the new model put forward is more system and the effectiveness of the countermeasures and Suggestions.This paper mainly used the questionnaire,interviews and other qualitative research methods,around the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms' way and present situation and the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms has the efficacy and so on,From cultural customs,emotional communication,national identity and psychological level,to the situation of the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms of Xinjiang's Colleges and universities and the social actual effect to investigation and analysis of the system.This paper argues that the the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms for communication between different nationalities students provide a good platform and environment,and create a good learning atmosphere,improve the minority and Han students' bilingual expression ability and communication skills,enhance mutual tolerance and acceptance.But were also found in the survey and questionnaire,the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms to the current,there is a certain percentage of the communication between the minority and Han students is insufficient,lack of rational cognition between each other,even due to problems such as customs often can lead to conflict.The minority and Han students in the mixed dorms of Xinjiang's Colleges and universities from the perspective of embedded residence have the characteristics of multicultural communication.Because the "embedded" not only emphasizes the location ofspace staggered residence,including between the members of all ethnic groups in the spirit of mutual recognition,mutual understanding,and ultimately achieve harmony to live in the same environment.Therefore,in view of the current the minority and Han students in the mixed dorms of Xinjiang's Colleges and universities problems,this paper think that to solve these problems,we concern not only on the spatial pattern but also emotional with each other.Specific strategies are: to build a good campus and dormitory culture,strengthen the minority and Han students to the rational understanding of ethnic relations,and enhance the understanding and understanding of between the minority and Han students,strengthen the bilingual communication,etc.Only this way the ethnic relations in the embedded development to harmonious and blend,the final "a point to an area" way to promote national unity and social stability in Xinjiang to contribute to a force.
