Advantages And Disadvantages Of The Dissemination And Protection Of The Non-material Cultural Heritage Of Martial Arts Under Different Media

Martial art,the intangible cultural heritage,is of special national spirit which centered in traditional martial art and took martial art repertoire as the principal thing.Throughout human history,media have extended human sense organs and information channels to such an extent that every cultural mode and every social behavior is inevitably involved in it.During the development process of martial art,all kinds of media,including spoken media,written media,print media,electronic media and digital media,have played a crucial role in their own fields.In February 2017,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and General Office of the State Council issued Suggestions on Implementing the Heritage and Development of Traditional Chinese Culture,claiming that departments at all levels should conscientiously carry out this policy to protect and inherit intangible cultures.Martial art,an outstanding representative of intangible cultural heritages,is in urgent need of exploitation,arrangement,protection and popularization.As carriers of cultural transmission,media have an obligation to inherit and protect the intangible heritage of martial art.Moreover,the protection and heritage of martial arts cannot be separated with the development and innovation of media in that every newly-developing medium is not only a promotion but also a challenge to martial art.Literature study,case analysis and logical analysis methods have been adopted to study the spread and protection of the intangible cultural heritage of martial art from the aspect of media.This paper sorts out the way in the dissemination and protection of Martial art as well as distinguishing the advantages and disadvantages under different medias.In view of the present situation in the media application,this paper provides some reasonable suggestions.We hope this research can enrich the achievement in crossed academy area between the non-material cultural heritage of Martial art and the media.Furthermore,we also hope this research can provide lessons for the better use of media in spreading non-material cultural heritage of Martial art.The research conclusions are as follows:Firstly,spoken media is the main method of the spread and protection of the intangible cultural heritage of martial art.It would not be spread and protected if there were no spoken media.Due to the limitation to the mode of master to apprentice inheritance,spoken media restrains the popularization and promotion of martial art,but on the other hand,it retains the tradition of martialart.Secondly,written media and print media have laid a solid theoretical foundation for the study of martial art,which makes the spread and protection of martial art tend to be precise.Thirdly,electronic media is the main tool to spread martial art in today's society.It broadens the communication channel of martial art.Fourthly,digital media is an important weapon to save the endangered intangible cultural heritage of martial art.Therefore,the use of digital technology to protect martial art is the inevitable trend of the times.
